Man charged in death of woman found strangled in Greater Grand Crossing apartment

Travion Cooper, 30, has been charged with first-degree murder for the death of Terriyanna Johnson, who was found strangled in an apartment in Greater Grand Crossing, Chicago. The woman's death was ruled a homicide by the Cook County medical examiner's office. Police were notified when a criminal defense attorney called and asked for help in apprehending the crime.
