UT Tyler School of Medicine students learn anatomy with 3D printed models

The University of Texas Tyler School of Medicine is using 3D printed models to teach medical students about anatomy in a more interactive way. The models are designed to help students prepare for procedures they may use in the field. The school's Simulation and Immersive Learning Experience Center (Saede), has been using 3d models to give students more hands-on training and improve learning retention. This technology is also helping students recognize injuries in more extreme situations and is preparing them for high-pressure situations.
