The Lakers' three-point shooting performance in their first-round series against the Houston Rockets has been a problem recently. The Lakers started hot from the perimeter but their performance from beyond the arc has been inconsistent. In the last two games, Houston shot an average of 37.5% from three, while the Rockets doubled up the Lakers' overall with 26 combined made threes. Despite this, the Lakers have been unable to maintain their momentum and are now averaging 37.7% for the series. The Rockets have also attempted 69 more field goals than Los Angeles across the five games in the series, and are the best offensive rebounding team in the league in the last 25 years. Despite these struggles, LeBron James, who started the series with a 44% from deep, has been able to maintain his dominance.
