Police have arrested a 55-year-old man from Aichi Prefecture, Hideki Gonomori, for allegedly stealing fire hose nozzles to sell as scrap metal. The incident occurred when a local scrap metal dealer alerted authorities about a suspicious haul of 25 nozzle. Police are now investigating whether Gomomori is linked to a wider spate of thefts.
