Ex-Ohio State cornerback facing decades in prison over string of bank robberies

Former Ohio State Buckeyes defensive back Marcus Williamson has pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to bank robberies, stealing an estimated $22,000 from different banks. He was arrested on April 24, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio after exiting a bank. Williamson is scheduled for sentencing on June 25 and faces up to 40 years in prison. He is currently in custody at the Franklin County Jail.
