The Bay Area is experiencing its final spring storm of the rainiest April the region has seen in nearly a decade, with Saturday night showers expected to end by Sunday morning. The National Weather Service said the rain showers began across Monterey and San Benito counties Saturday evening, with portions extending over the Santa Cruz Mountains. The storm is expected to bring a few hundredths of an inch to two-tenths in its rainiest regions, but most rain will come overnight. The North Bay was not expected to receive any rain from the storm. The Bay Area will continue to see a drying pattern through the end of April, with temperatures expected to dip into the mid-40s to low 50s as a cool front arrives overnight, with highs reaching the low- to mid-60s on Sunday.
