The sci-fi stories that love Andy Weir's "Project Hail Mary" are being adapted into films like "The Martian," "The Murderbot Diaries," and "The Three-Body Problem" are all popular sci-fiction stories. These include a middle school teacher, Ryland Grace, who is forced to join a mission to save humanity from sun-eating microbes. The Martian, Weir's debut novel, follows a botanist aboard the first manned mission to Mars, who was presumed dead and abandoned by his crew after a deadly dust storm. The series adaptation of "The Mars" is set to be released on Apple TV later this year or early 2027. Other sci fictions include "Atmosphere," a love story about astronauts and space missions set against the backdrop of NASA's 1980s space shuttle program, and "Dawn," by prolific sci-Fi author Butler.
