Lakewood students raise $11,685 for the American Heart Association

The initiative encourages students to stay physically active and learn about heart health. The top student fundraisers receive a whipped cream pie for their efforts. The goal for the initiative is between $7,000 and $10,000, according to organizer Nicole Anderson.
