Jeremy Ferguson and his wife, Mandy Zelinka, were found dead at their Venice home on April 21. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident as a possible murder-suicide. Ferguson had previously served as the mayor of Milwaukie, Ore., and worked with TriMet, the Portland region's transit agency, for 17 years. Prior to his death, Ferguson was a director of operations for the nonprofit organization Downtown Santa Monica Inc. He also oversaw the redesign of Santa Monica's annual holiday ice-skating rink and served on the board of the Santa Monica History Museum. The couple's two teenage children were at their home at the time of the incident.
