BTS: K-pop agency shares drop after comeback show turnout falls short

Shares in Hybe, the company behind K-pop megastars BTS, have fallen sharply after a lower number of fans attended their comeback concert than expected. The concert, held in Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, saw all seven members perform for the first time since they went on hiatus in 2022 to attend mandatory military service. The event, which was live-streamed on Netflix to over 190 countries, may have contributed to low attendance. The company's shares had previously risen ahead of the release of their new album, Arirang.
