India's Smash Hit defeated the film Ready or Not 2: Here I Come at the box office, ending up at #3. The film, which opened to $9.1 million domestically and contributed to a $11.9 million worldwide total, was followed by Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which earned $13.5 million domestically after opening in 987 theaters. Despite a wider release, the Bollywood sequel recorded higher per-theater averages across multiple days. The opening results show that two different franchises are performing well in the same release window as the original. The original movie, which initially opened at $8.02 million domestically, went on to earn $57.62 million worldwide.
