The Miami (Ohio) men's swim team has been supporting the RedHawks' NCAA Tournament run, with a recent game against SMU in Dayton, Ohio. The team, dressed as if they were about to compete, inadvertently caused SMU to miss a game-tying free throw. If they attend the next game, it will be the second consecutive March Madness game attended by the swim team. RedHawk coach Travis Steele praised the team's support and noted that tickets for the upcoming game against 6-seeded Tennessee have increased from 200,300 to 10,640. The Redhawks are making their 18th appearance in the NCAA Tournament and their first since the 2006-07 season.
