Israel Hernandez, 45, of Sky Valley, California, was killed in a collision at the intersection of Marshall Road and 22nd Avenue. The California Highway Patrol reported that Hernandez was operating a four-wheel John Deere Gator westbound when a Toyota Camry approached from behind, causing the collision. The other driver, whose identity was not disclosed, was uninjured. The intersection was closed for over three hours while the wreckage was cleared.
