Allen County election officials have officially certified the 2026 primary election, marking the first time using vote centers. The process involved two closely watched races, including the County Commissioner District 3 and State Senate District 15. Officials reviewed remaining provisional and challenged ballots before closing out results at 3 p.m. Out of 10 provisional ballots reviewed, only three were approved and added to the final totals. The system of vote centers improved convenience for voters but caused delays on election night as voting machines processed ballot data tied to all 276 precincts across the county.
