Trump's antitrust regime heads to court

A federal judge will hear arguments about whether the U.S. Justice Department improperly approved an antitrust settlement allowing Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HP) to acquire Juniper Networks for $14 billion. The case is part of allegations that corporate lobbyists have manipulated the department's decision to approve the settlement. It would be unprecedented for a judge to reject a merger settlement using the Watergate-era Tunney Act.
