Organizers for Lubbock's annual Independence Day celebration, 4th on Broadway, have announced a change in the parade route for the 2026 event. The H-E-B Parade will now begin from Avenue M and move east down Broadway to Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. The event is being produced by Stage Left Productions, the owner of the event's founder, Don Caldwell. The 2026 celebration will be held at the South Plains Fairgrounds and will also feature new events such as the Sonic Classic Car Show hosted by Coffee and Cars and an Arts Row.
