Three F-15E Strike Eagle fighters were accidentally shot down by Kuwaiti air defense units during "active combat" with the Islamic Republic of Iran. The incident was captured on video by Faytuks Network. The six aircrew members, including six Air Force personnel, three pilots, and three weapon systems officers, safely ejected from their stricken aircraft. CENTCOM stated that the incident occurred during active combat, which included attacks from Iranian aircraft, ballistic missiles, and drones. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
