Israeli reporter, Emanuel Fabian, was allegedly targeted by bettors on Polymarket who pressured him to change an article he wrote about an Iranian missile strike. The threats began after Fabian wrote a short piece about the missile strike outside Beit Shemesh, causing no injuries. The beters had placed wagers on whether Iran would carry out a missile, drone or air strike in Israel on March 10. Fabian received multiple messages urging him to correct his report, which violates Polymarket's betting rules that an intercepted missile strike does not count. The betting contract on a March 10 Iranian strike on Israel generated about $15 million in trading volume.
