A Minnesota mother, Cassie Rae Tauriainen, has been sentenced to 90 days in jail after admitting to drug possession after her daughter and a 5-year-old boy overdosed on a chocolate bar laced with hallucinogenic mushrooms at their school. The incident occurred on September 10, 2025, at Cokato Elementary School. The child was taken to hospital with significant signs of impairment and was treated for his injuries.
