Severe Storm Sparks Wire Fire, Downs Trees, Closes Roads In Somerset County

A powerful storm that swept through Somerset County has left hundreds without power and closed multiple roads in the area. Route 206 in Hillsborough is closed in both directions due to a tree down on wires and will remain closed for around 6 to 8 hours. As of 8 a.m., 478 JCP&L customers are without power. Meanwhile, PSE&G is reporting 887 customers without power in various locations. The public is urged to report outages through the company's website.
