Route 36 Lane Closures Begin By Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge: See Details

A single lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with traffic shifted between the Rumson Road/CR 520 Bridge over the Shrewsbury River and Peninsula Avenue in Sea Bright, New Jersey. The closure is necessary for final milling and paving. This work is part of a $110 million county project that replaced the old movable bridge between Rumson and Sea Bright. If work is not completed on Monday, a single lane on Route 36 will be reopened at the same time. The work is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
