Dunwoody sticks with Flock as scrutiny over surveillance intensifies

After months of delays and community concerns, Dunwoody leaders have approved a new contract with Flock Safety to continue operating license plate reader cameras in the city. While some cities are ending agreements with the company due to privacy concerns and concerns about federal immigration authorities using collected information to identify undocumented individuals. The council unanimously approved the master services agreement, which also includes a $15,000 contract to implement its OS 911 system for the police department and $200,000 to use its Drone as First Responder program.
