Poop Patrol: 'We're trying to clean up our town - one scoop at a time'

The self-proclaimed "Poop Patrol" in Maybole, South Ayrshire, is a group of volunteers who regularly clean up dog fouling on their streets. The group's founder, Emily Devine, moved to Maybole about eight years ago and is the owner of a lurcher named Pearl. The initiative began when Devine made a social media comment about the bad nature of dog poop on the local chat pages, which led to her posting inviting others to join her. Since then, other people have started helping out. Despite the name, the group is tackling all types of rubbish in an hour.
