Xbox Ally handhelds are finally getting thumb stick mouse controls, but I'm hoping it's not a desktop mode cop-out

ROG Xbox Ally handhelds are receiving thumb stick mouse controls for the first time, a feature that allows them to switch left stick movements to mouse controls. The "Gamepad Cursor" was originally highlighted by ROG Ally Life and is now available for Windows Insiders. However, I'm concerned that this feature distracts from the fact that the portable is still at the mercy of Windows 11 settings screens. While the new Xbox Full Screen Experience provides a controller-friendly hub for accessing your library, it's still a Windows 11 rig. The feature is designed to provide a more console-like experience for the handheld, but it's unclear whether this will be implemented in the future.
