Governor Landry blames parents, judges in wake of deadly Mall of Louisiana shooting

A 17-year-old boy, Markel Lee, has been charged with first-degree murder and five counts of attempted murder following the fatal shooting at the Mall of Louisiana. The victim was identified as 17-years-old student from Ascension Episcopal High School. Governor Jeff Landry has blamed parents, judges, and the parents of the offenders for the violence. He also highlighted the state's failure to address juvenile violence and stated that parents, along with judges, are responsible for this crime. The police are still searching for another suspect.
