A new Olympic-sized outdoor swimming pool will be opened at the Pavilion Pool Complex in Summerlin, Las Vegas. The funding for the project is from a nearly $9 million grant through the Southern Nevada Public Lands Management Act and a $1 million donation from the Sandpipers Nevada swimming club. The pool will provide a much needed facility for young swimmers and future Olympians.
