Feds Investigating '8647' Graffiti On Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool

The National Park Service (NPS) is investigating the vandalism of the National Mall's reflecting pool, which many supporters of President Donald Trump believe is an assassination threat. The term "8647" was found on the reflecting pool which is currently undergoing renovation. The United States Park Police began their investigation after receiving notification from the NPS. The graffiti was the subject of an indictment charging former FBI Director James Comey with threatening Trump. The phrase also appeared at demonstrations as part of May Day.
