The Monroe County Democratic Party in Pennsylvania has called Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) a "traitor" to Democrats and supporters who supported his campaign. This comes after Fettermen's repeated support for some Trump administration policies and Cabinet officials. The county chapter of the Democratic Party posted a statement on X. X. emphasised the need for primary primary and vote him out in 2028. Despite disagreements over party affiliations and support for the Republican Party's legislative agenda, Fetman has stated he will not switch parties while in office. He has also opposed Cabinet nominations for Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
