Service and Eagle River baseball teams began their seasons at Bartlett High School in Anchorage, Alaska, with a win on opening day. The warm weather and hot bats helped Service secure their 4th consecutive state title game. The team's Head Coach, Willie Paul, expressed high expectations for the upcoming season, noting the return of key returners but acknowledged the lack of big names they have experienced in the past. Key player, Rilen Niclai, the 2025 Alaska Baseball Gatorade Player of the Year and Arizona State commit, is expected to return for his senior season in 2026. The new faces will be looking for veteran leadership across the batting order this season.
