For the first time, Tate is participating in the Chelsea Flower Show in 2026, bringing its world-famous collection to the event. The Tate Britain Garden, designed by nine-time RHS Chelsea gold medal winner Tom Stuart-Smith, will feature a 1949 sculpture by Dame Barbara Hepworth. The garden, inspired by Tate's impressive collection of art, will be surrounded by leopard plants, magnolia flowers and pomegranate and fig trees. Once the flower show ends, Tate's display will be transferred to its gallery on Millbank and incorporated into a wider project, the Clore Garden.
