MDSO motorcycle deputy hurt in crash on Douglas Road

A Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office motorcycle deputy was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center after a crash on Douglas Road. The deputy may have been cut off by the driver of another vehicle, causing the crash. The driver of the other vehicle, a 62-year-old woman, was also taken to hospital with neck injuries. The incident occurred shortly after 3:20 p.m.
