Syngenta has announced it will stop producing its paraquat herbicide, a weed killer linked to Parkinson's disease, before July. The company cited rival companies making cheaper copycat versions and said paraquats accounted for less than 1% of its worldwide revenue. The decision comes amidst over 8,000 legal cases by individuals claiming paraquatu exposure to the chemical has caused their Parkinson's Disease.
