El Paso teen launches nonprofit, hosts tennis fundraiser to help rescue pets

High school student, Emerson Lowenfield, has launched her nonprofit, Grace for Paws, with a mission to support animal rescue efforts in the El Paso community. The first major event, the tennis tournament, will be held at Coronado High School and will combine sport and service. The fundraiser has already raised over $9,000 through sponsorships and community support.
