Houston Astros shortstop Jeremy Peña is set to play on Opening Day for the team, following a full recovery from a fractured right ring finger suffered while playing for the Dominican Republic. Peña's 394-foot home run in the final exhibition game against the Sugar Land Space Cowboys indicated he is ready for the season. Other notable players on the Opening Day roster include Zach Dezenzo, Ronel Blanco, Enyel De Los Santos, Josh Hader, and Nate Pearson. César Salazar has been designated for assignment.
