The top 2027 football recruits in Louisiana are from high school, with five of them having a connection to Louisiana. Easton Royal, the No. 1 wide receiver in the country, is ranked by Rivals, while Dunham (Baton Rouge) quarterback Elijah Haven is ranked No. 11 overall and is considered a strong contender for the position. Other notable recruits include Sam Houston (Lake Charles) offensive lineman Albert Simien, who ESPN ranks him as the nation's top interior offensive lineman. Meanwhile, former Jesuit and current IMG (Florida) EDGE defender Zyron Forstall is ranked 16th and is currently committed to Texas A&M.
