Mercy Miller shines on court during March Madness and inside UH classroom

University of Houston sophomore guard, Mercy Miller, has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for his impressive performances on the court and in the classroom. The award requires a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 and a sophomore to be a high school athlete. This season, Miller has led the University of Houston to a 30-6 overall record and a Tournament Sweet 16 appearance for the seventh consecutive year. He is currently averaging 5.2 points and 1.9 rebounds per game and has scored double-digit points in each game.
