CCSD teacher arrested on battery, child abuse charges

The Clark County School District Police has arrested 65-year-old teacher Lisa Harris on charges of battery and child abuse. The arrest occurred during an investigation at Dr. Claude G. Perkins Elementary School. The district has placed Harris on unpaid leave per the terms of a negotiated agreement with her bargaining unit.
