Couple defrauded La. Medicaid program by nearly $135K, officials say

A couple has been arrested for defrauding Louisiana's Medicaid program by nearly $135,000, according to Louisiana State Attorney General Liz Murrill. Phuc Pham, 36, of Slidell, is charged with two counts of government benefits fraud and one count of filing false public records. Tran Pham is also charged with underreporting their incomes and failing to report their marital status. The couple were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
