Germany poll sees AfD level with Merz's conservative alliance

The far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) is level with Chancellor Friedrich Merz's conservative CDU/CSU alliance on 26%, according to a survey by Insa. The survey also revealed that support for the AfD had increased by one percentage point. The Social Democrats (SPD) have dropped one point to 14, their lowest level since mid-January. Other parties that could enter parliament are not allowed to do so.
