Local AC businesses see uptick in calls as residents check systems ahead of heat

As temperatures rise, local air conditioning businesses are receiving more calls about systems not working or needing to check for maintenance. Senior master HVAC technician, Jason Thack, advised homeowners to check their systems, including the filter, the thermostat, and the batteries. He also advised against turning off the A/C when leaving the house, which could increase energy bills.
