Kentucky woman pleads guilty to defrauding 50-plus pool business customers

Tracy Davenport, a 51-year-old Louisville woman, has pleaded guilty to defrauding over 50 customers through her pool business. The scheme left victims out thousands of dollars after paying large down payments for pool installations that never happened as promised. Prosecutors allege that Daveport and others at her direction induced customers to sign contracts for pool installation and pay large down Payments up front. Instead of using the funds, DavenPort used them for other purposes. She is scheduled to be sentenced on May 20, 2026, and will be required to pay not less than $3,398,536.
