The New South Wales (NSW) Labor government has decided to allow women over 18 years old to obtain a new prescription for the contraceptive pill from a pharmacy without needing a consultation with a doctor. The decision comes a day after a mass shooting at Bondi Beach, Australia, resulted in a $4.5 million investment in new measures allowing women to directly access the pill.
