Robin Berzin, CEO of Parsley Health, has identified the three health markers, including cognitive health, skeletal health, and muscle mass, as key to longevity. She believes these three are overlooked by women and are crucial for building healthy bodies that can withstand aging. Berzin highlighted these three at the Flow Space Women’s Health Summit in Los Angeles, where longevity is more about how I feel and feel. She also highlighted the importance of avoiding chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, and dementia. She recommended that women over 35 should get a baseline dual x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scan for optimal bone health and avoiding osteopenia or low density. Other ways of combating bone loss include a diet rich in calcium and vitamin D (at least 600 units per day).
