The Orlando Pride defeated the Chicago Stars 3-0 in the first half, marking the team's second shutout loss of the season. Barbara Banda scored the first goal in the 13th minute, followed by Jacqueline Ovalle's nine minutes later. The Stars won their first game of the year against the Kansas City Current, marking their first win of the match. At 23 years old, Trinity Rodman became the youngest player in NWSL history to reach 100 regular-season appearances. The expansion Denver Summit defeated Gotham FC 2-0 on the road for its first NWSL win. Meanwhile, the Utah Royals and the Portland Thorns played to a 1-1 draw against the Washington Spirit.
