New Zealand spy plane reports possible North Korea sanctions breach at sea

New Zealand's Defence Force has reported a possible transfer of illicit goods by a North Korean ship. The incident occurred while a surveillance aircraft was conducting monitoring over the Yellow Sea and East China Sea. The exchange was captured by the long-range P-8A Poseidon reconnaissance aircraft near North Korea. Despite international sanctions, North Korea continues to trade goods with a handful of countries. The evidence captured allows authorities to take action against ships operating in contravention of UN resolutions.
