Two major fusion energy companies, Commonwealth Fusion Systems and Realta Fusion, have announced a partnership to collaborate in the push towards commercial fusion. The companies aim to develop high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnets for Realtas' demonstration prototypes and commercial fusion power plants by mid-2030s.
