The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDP) has been prevented from publishing a study by anti-vaccine Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The study, which found significant health benefits from this season's COVID-19 vaccines, was set to be published on March 19 in the agency's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. However, acting CDC director Jay Bhattacharya, who has concerns about the study's methodology, blocked the publication. The move raises concerns about political interference under Kennedy, a staunch anti-vaxine activist who has long maligned the vaccines.
