Jose Fernandez's 2-homer debut powers D-backs' rally vs. Tigers

The Arizona Diamondbacks overcame a five-run deficit to win over the Detroit Tigers in their major league debut against the Tigers, winning 7-5. Jose Fernandez's two-homer in the eighth inning capped the comeback with a three-run homer in which he capped a six-run rally. He is the seventh player in modern major league history (since 1900) to hit two homers in his first game. The Tigers had taken a 5-1 lead before Fernandez's home run. The win was clinched by Andrew Hoffman (1-0), Paul Sewald (2), who also pitched two hitless innings for the Diamondbacks.
