Police arrest eight teens after multiple fights in Southwest D.C., spokesman says

The Metropolitan Police Department has arrested eight teenagers after responding to several fights in the Southwest Waterfront neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The first incident occurred about 8:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Canal Street SW, where officers observed a large fight and another large fight occurred around 8:40pm. Police also reported that a 15-year-old boy from Northeast D.c. was arrested for assault on a police officer. Other arrests were made for affray, assault on an officer, and child pornography.
