Bakersfield gala at Meadows Field raises awareness, resources to fight human trafficking

The Best of Bakersfield Gala was held at Meadows Field to raise money and awareness to combat human trafficking. The event was hosted by the Global Family Network and the Daughter Project, a nonprofit that works to prevent and intercept child trafficking. Participants also learned about resources available for survivors. The Gala included dinner, live entertainment, and both silent and live auctions.
